Calabi Gallery brings you “Other Worlds” featuring recent paintings by Michael Ramos and Tim Haworth as well as a selection of 20th century works from our collection. Although exquisitely rendered in a slow, careful process, Michael’s paintings are pure expressions of the subconscious. Tim’s ethereal monotypes, mostly inspired by landscapes, are created in a unique process of his own invention. The vintage works by other artists in the exhibition also explore the deeper reaches of the human psyche or imaginary realms inspired by the natural world.

Included are works by Raymond Barnhart, Paul Beattie, Morris Graves, Robert Howard, Ynez Johnston, Sutter Marin, Robert McChesney, and Elisabeth Vellacott. As usual, in addition to the exhibition we will also show a selection of works by our other gallery artists. An opening reception will be held on Wednesday, September 16th from 5-8pm. Refreshments and light bites will be served for your enjoyment. Please come join us!
