The legendary San Francisco Bay Area favorite known as the “folksinger’s folksinger” Larry Hanks has been performing live for decades, and is now touring with his wife and musical partner Deborah Robins! This incredible American Songster duo sings great old folk songs accompanied by acoustic guitar or Jew’s harp in authentic traditional style. Their latest CD brings “brand spankin’ OLD” songs back to life, describing the trials and traditions of historical American life in strong soulful harmony.
The Perfect Crime will kick off the evening with their always-impressive mix of folk, jazz, ragtime and blues! Originally formed as a duo in 1974, the new configuration of The Perfect Crime includes original member singer and guitarist Hugh Shacklett, as well as George Inskeep on standup base, and Steve Della Maggiora alternating between guitar and accordion.
Please contact Calabi Gallery at 707.781.7070 to save your seat in advance. We are located at 456 Tenth Street, Santa Rosa, CA 95401. Hope to see you there!
