Calabi Gallery is pleased to present an illuminating preview of photographer Penny Wolin’s remarkable upcoming book and exhibition featuring memoirs and photographs of the most influential Jewish American photographers of the past and current century.

Wolin will discuss this monumental documentary by examining the works of such photographers as Garry Winogrand, Annie Leibovitz, Bruce Davidson, Lauren Greenfield and others, as time allows. A selection of photographs to be included in the book will be on display. Please join us for this artist lecture and be prepared to ask questions.

Wolin’s seminal project, The Jews of Wyoming: Fringe of the Diaspora, exhibited solo at the Smithsonian Institution and the book of the same name continues to be available.

A reception will be held at Calabi Gallery on Saturday, August 2nd at 6:00 pm. Refreshments and light delectables will be served.
